The metal burns down into the wood while simultaneously cooling and solidifying. The dynamic silver represents purity and positivity. If the silver metal were removed, a permanent burn mark stays with the wood structure. So, too, in life. Our virtue shines for us and others to see and experience. If we choose to leave it behind, we are left with a permanent reminder of what was, a reminder to get back to our most positive self both for our benefit and for others.
